The Mortgage Process:
- Sign the Purchase Agreement for your new Sivage Home!
- Fill out the First Continental Mortgage Loan Application online.
- You will be contacted by your Mortgage Loan Specialist within 48 hours to schedule an appointment.
- Gather all necessary documentation (see below for the list) and fax to the Mortgage Loan specialist at 210.568.4223 prior to your mortgage appointment.
- Your Mortgage Loan specialist will review your application and provide you different scenarios based on your financial position before making a decision.
- Once approved, you will be contacted by our Design Gallery specialist to set a time for your private appointment to make selections for your new home.
- Once your Design Gallery appointment is complete, construction will begin on your new home.
- 30-60 days prior to closing, you will be contacted by First Continental Mortgage to update your loan paperwork and provide contact information for your Homeowner’s Insurance Agent.
- The final step will be to close on your home when it is completed.
What to gather PRIOR to your Mortgage Appointment:
In order to simplify the mortgage process, please gather and fax to First Continental Mortgage at 210.568.4223 the following documents prior to your mortgage appointment:
- Pay Stubs covering the most recent 30 days of pay
- W-2’s for the last two years
- Tax Returns, all pages, all schedules, for self-employed and commissioned applicants for the last two years
- Bank Statements covering the most recent 2 months, all pages, all accounts
- DD214 (military applicants)
- Statement of Service (military applicants)
- Certificate of Eligibility (military applicants)
What to bring to your Mortgage Appointment:
- Copy of Driver’s License or Identification Card
- Copy of Social Security Card
